InComm builds platform for m-wallets
Atlanta-based prepaid card distributor InComm launched a mobile wallet platform designed to facilitate prepaid card payments in-store. The InComm Mobile Platform leverages near field communication (NFC) technology and its trusted service manager solution to enable mobile contactless in-store payments involving virtual gift cards and other types of digital prepaid cards.
InComm said the IMP operates as the "hub" for mobile wallets. The company stated, "This includes integrations to InComm’s internal systems and more than seven partner systems for switching and processing a wide array of transactions, including card provisioning, card reloads, buying and sending digital cards, and many other traditional consumer functions."
InComm also provides the card processing capabilities for the platform, as well as fraud monitoring. "The prepaid processing platform supports the creation of prepaid debit card accounts, the generation of track data, the funding of accounts, balance inquiries and transaction history," the company said.
InComm added, "The platform provides a wide array of reporting services for billing, reconciliation, and customer analytics, and because it was built with a highly configurable use case orchestration system and business rules engine, it can easily adapt to changing market demands."
