Transact Tech to spotlight fintechs, capital markets
Transact Tech will return to New York City on Nov. 14, 2022, to explore trending topics impacting payments, financial services and investment communities. Produced by the Electronic Transactions Association and sponsored by Bank of America, Discover Global Network, Mastercard and Visa, the one-day event will attract stakeholders at the intersection of capital markets and payments, stated Jodie Kelley, CEO at the ETA.
"ETA's Transact Tech NYC brings together innovators, analysts, private equity, investment banks and venture capitalists to discuss how the capital markets view payments and how innovations including crypto, other alternative payments methods, and embedded finance are changing payments and driving valuations," Kelley said.
Noting that payments remain a top investment category despite a recent dip in fintech investment, Kelley stated the fast-paced event will feature presentations by successful fintechs that are pushing through economic headwinds on their journeys, private equity investors who share investment strategies, and analysts exploring what drives valuations.
She additionally noted that Michael Santoli, senior markets commentator for CNBC, will address the state of capital markets and payments.
