Socure expands fraud prevention with Remote Verifier
Socure has added Remote Verifier to RiskOS, a unified fraud, compliance and risk decisioning platform. The new capability is designed to automatically verify identities while reducing delays, costs and friction often associated with manual identity checks, the company stated.
Jordan Burris, head of public sector at Socure, said the new capability allows users to make more informed decisions using AI-driven fraud detection and identity intelligence.
Rather than relying on traditional video calls or standalone document reviews, Remote Verifier equips live reviewers with identity documents, explanations of why an automated verification failed, fraud intelligence, risk indicators and other identity insights generated by Socure's platform.
Currently available across multiple industries, the solution can be tailored for public sector agencies, strengthening fraud prevention and improving the experience for individuals seeking access to government services.
