Trustwave finds employees a weak link in security chain
Trustwave just published an infographic showing key findings from research it conducted on the past year's security issues and data breaches. Titled Uneducated Employees and Their 7 Deadly Sins, the summary reveals some startling findings, including the following:
- 87 percent of companies that experienced security breaches did not have security policies in place.
- Only 32 percent of respondent employees indicated they were educated on security policies.
- Organizations experience an average of 14.4 incidents of unintentional data loss per year due to employee negligence.
