ETA returns to Vegas for TRANSACT 24

The Electronic Transactions Association will return to the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay, April 17 to 19, 2024, for TRANSACT 24. The ETA expects its signature event to draw more than 3,000 attendees from across fintech, financial and payments industry sectors.

Visa and Mastercard agreed to settle a long-running legal battle with retailers. Under the settlement, announced March 26, 2024, the card brands will put the brakes on interchange hikes for four years, eliminate their anti-steering rules, and simplify rules pertaining to surcharging and cash discounting, according to press releases issued today by the card brands and attorneys representing retailers.
