The conference will cover the entire U.S. market, which is the world's largest payments ecosystem, the SCA noted. "We'll be covering the migration to EMV [Europay/MasterCard/Visa], and as the situation is fluid, we're looking for up-to-minute content," the SCA stated, adding that proposed topics should involve the application and usage of smart cards and alternative smart technology – for example, tokens, smartphones, embedded chips – that fall into the following categories:
The SCA stated the committee is looking for "end-user perspectives and presenters, and vendor-neutral educational presentations that focus on the real-life applications of payment technologies and systems."
