ETA returns to Vegas for TRANSACT 24

The Electronic Transactions Association will return to the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay, April 17 to 19, 2024, for TRANSACT 24. The ETA expects its signature event to draw more than 3,000 attendees from across fintech, financial and payments industry sectors.

Jodie Kelley, CEO of the ETA, mentioned that over 100 visionaries, from a diversity of backgrounds and specializations, will present on three different stages at this year's conference.

"TRANSACT is the must attend event to stay ahead of changes in payments," she said. "From AI to embedded payments and open banking, TRANSACT is the event where payments industry leaders gather to share ideas and drive innovation."

Tiffany Johnson, chief product officer at NMI, agreed, stating that TRANSACT is more than just a conference; she considers it a catalyst that informs industry evolution.

"NMI runs its NMI University at TRANSACT, giving our network of partners valuable insights into the tools and opportunities that can help grow their business," she said. "I'm particularly excited this year to be leading a Vegas-themed Empow(H)er session that aims to inspire women to think more confidently about their role in payments by exploring the parallel dynamics between a poker table and the board room."

Future-forward focus

Kelley went on to say that TRANSACT has grown exponentially in recent years, both in physical size and in terms of educational content, networking opportunities, interactive exhibits and six curated areas of interest. These unique experiences are designed to empower and inform, she stated, while helping attendees stay ahead of emerging trends as follows:

  • Tech Zone: Dive into technological innovations that are driving the industry forward.

  • Idea Zone: Engage with creative concepts and visionary ideas that are shaping the future of payments.

  • Growth Zone: Discover strategies designed to scale operations and maximize growth in a competitive landscape.

  • Security, Risk & Compliance: Stay ahead with emerging trends and best practices to ensure business integrity and customer trust.

  • ISV World: Explore integrated software vendors and groundbreaking embedded commerce solutions.

  • EMPOW(H)ER: Join a dedicated space led by the most dynamic women in payments.

Networking and Engagement

Kelley further noted that in addition to hosting 150 exhibit booths, the showroom layout will be optimally designed for learning and networking with designated spaces for informal coffee gatherings and focused meetings. Relaxation lounges and happy hours will be part of the festivities and provide additional opportunities to network or recharge, she added.

Fiserv will add a new standout experience to this year's festivities, Kelley added, by providing a place where attendees can revisit favorite childhood games and enter a raffle to win impressive prizes. Each day will culminate in exclusive parties at iconic venues like Allegiant Stadium, she noted, and with performances by the Lucky Devils, sponsored by PSP Services, at the All-Attendee party.

History in the making

Billed as the place where payments meets business, TRANSACT is a unique platform and immersive experience, ETA representatives stated, encouraging payments, fintech and financial services professionals to join a growing professional community. The industry is experiencing transformative change, they added, and TRANSACT provides a front-row seat to witness and participate in the evolution of payments.

"Mark your calendars and prepare to be part of an event where the future of our industry and your business comes to life," the ETA stated on its website, pointing to a heritage of successful conferences "where ideas are exchanged, partnerships are forged, and groundbreaking deals are inked."
