Alpha Card Services LLC's newly launched SELECTpay program is designed to offer merchants real choices. With this program, merchants can select a POS system configured by industry type, customize equipment integrations, choose among payment offerings and determine the payment frequency that best matches their cash flow. Because no upfront costs are associated with this program, sales partners may also benefit when boarding new merchants, Alpha Card stated. "We expect SELECTpay to be warmly received by our existing customers and new merchants due to the no upfront cost commitment and affordable monthly or weekly payment schedule," said Lazaros Kalemis, Chief Executive Officer at Alpha Card Services.

Merchants control the entire program, whether choosing Alpha Card's standard, premier or iPad tablet POS packages in multi- or single-lane formats, according to Alpha Card. The company also offers loyalty, reservation and online ordering modules; it plans to add integrated payroll services, and text and email marketing modules as well.

Alpha Card also reported that the program has no hidden fees and offers transparency at every level. "Merchants who previously regarded a POS system as a costly capital expenditure will now view SELECTpay as a necessary and affordable tool to efficiently operate their business," Kalemis said.

"In the long run, we are much more affordable to the merchant compared to similar POS programs out there," Kalemis noted. "We don't play games or offer gimmicks that will get the merchant upset, but we stand to deliver on our promise of creating a long-term partnership." Kalemis noted that this same principle applies to Alpha Card's partnerships because the ultimate goal is to provide the tools that sustain long-term residual streams.
