QuickBooks payments, lightning speed

Payments technology company TouchSuite, has created Lightning for QuickBooks, a fully integrated payments solution that runs in real time within Intuit's native QuickBooks accounting application.

Lightning, the latest addition to TouchSuite's line of patented, integrated POS systems, blends mobile POS, e-commerce and in-store payments with QuickBooks accounting software.

"Anticipating and creating affordable solutions around the needs of small to medium-size businesses is the objective behind everything we do; adding QuickBooks integration to the TouchSuite umbrella was truly the perfect collaboration for us," said TouchSuite Chief Executive Officer Sam Zietz.

Right-sized for select merchants, verticals

TouchSuite noted that Lightning can be integrated with all versions of QuickBooks using Lightning for QuickBooks, Lightning for QuickBooks POS and Lightning Virtual Terminal.

QuickBooks POS and QuickBooks Enterprise versions of Lightning can be sold through TouchSuite direct and TouchSuite authorized resellers. QuickBooks Pro and Premier editions can be sold through TouchSuite direct, TouchSuite authorized resellers and third-party ISOs.

Competitively priced, fully supported

Its competitive pricing models, revenue sharing and 24/7 support have made Lightning solutions popular with merchants and channel partners, TouchSuite said.

"We went from doing tax returns for small business to referring merchant services," said Lightning reseller Patrick Robinson, Principal at Argent Business Systems. "Now we always know where our next paycheck is coming from, because of the residual income we earn."

End user Justin Oswalt, Chief Operating Officer of Deep South Pout, uses Lightning at three retail locations. "I am saving $1,500 per month," he said. "More importantly, I did not lose any functionality with QuickBooks POS. I am thrilled."

Built-in analytics

"We have simplified the QuickBooks payments process," said Jeff White, TouchSuite Vice President of Developer Integrations. "End users who had to use seven different screens for a single transaction can now transact on one screen."

He added that existing QuickBooks merchants can easily transition to Lightning with no interruptions to their workflow, because the application is fully integrated with QuickBooks.

Predictive analytics can be derived from Lightning's transactional data to evaluate customer behavior, including why people made purchases, when they will do it again and what they will buy.End of Story
