UP Solution Inc., headquartered in Hackensack, N.J., released two additions to its Android-compatible POS product family. The 10.1" tablet and a 15" touch screen models, when paired with UP Solution software, are designed to maximize productivity at select retail, restaurant and salon merchant settings.
"We are excited to extend our Android-compatible hardware solutions to meet the needs of our merchants," said Jay Yoon, President and Chief Executive Officer of UP Solution. He added that the new generation of UP Solution POS products sports all-in-one features designed for convenience and connectivity in omnichannel environments, with numerous ports to support peripherals.
Android-compatible mini tablet
UP TAB AiO is a portable tablet and docking system devised to blend with all types of merchant environments. The 10.1" tablet is both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-enabled. Its built-in docking station includes a thermal receipt printer and has a variety of I/O ports to support a range of peripherals, including barcode scanners, scales and cash drawers, UP Solution noted.
Android-compatible full-sized POS
UP-5850 is a full-sized POS solution with a 15" touch screen, interchangeable color panels constructed to blend with the décor of diverse merchant environments, and one-touch disassembly of body and stand for cleaning and maintenance. Its built-in payment terminal has a variety of I/O ports that can connect it to scanners, scales, cash drawers and printers.
Android-compatible, market-driven POS software solutions
UP Solution noted that merchants can use business intelligence from Android-compatible POS devices provided by the UP Cloud back office to manage human resources, inventory levels and operations. They can use UP Solution POS software that is tailored for retail, salon and restaurant business owners, with functionality that addresses the requirements of each vertical market: UP TAB Retail caters to apparel, liquor, convenience and other retail businesses; UP TAB Salon is tailored for salons, spas and other personal care businesses; and UP TAB Restaurant is intended for fast casual, quick serve and formal dining restaurants.
