In memoriam Gary Payne
We received the following note from John McCormick, Vice President of General Credit Forms Inc., regarding the passing of his colleague and industry veteran Gary Payne:
General Credit Forms Inc., South Seas Data LLC and the McCormick Family of Businesses are sad to report the passing of our friend and colleague Gary Payne, who passed away on Feb. 15, 2017, at the age of 64. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Born Gary Evan Payne on July 23, 1952, Gary spent more than 40 years in the data processing and payments industries. He worked with such prestigious companies as IBM, Motorola, VeriFone and Hypercom, earning recognition and winning numerous awards for his excellence in Sales and Marketing. In 2010, he joined South Seas Data LLC, a leader in hardware development and depot services for the money order industry, and made an immediate impact. At that time, he also began representing General Credit Forms Inc., in the Northeastern United States, and at numerous payments industry trade shows.
"Gary handled his duties for both SSD and GCF with professionalism, humor and humanity. He will be missed by both co-workers and customers alike." stated John Marzano, Vice President and General Manager of South Seas Data. "Gary had a tremendous impact on our organizations over the last seven years and was a pleasure to work with. We will miss Gary and his ability to connect in a positive manner with our employees and customers on a day to day basis," added Bryan Eovaldi, President of General Credit Forms, Inc., and the McCormick Family of Businesses.
Gary was a devoted husband, father and brother. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly; sons, Kris and Kyle Payne; twin brother Larry Payne; and sister Pamela Nichols.
