Empower restaurateurs with digital ordering platform

The enhanced solution is designed to help hospitality merchants boost revenue and drive incremental growth by facilitating an array of customer ordering options, which include online ordering, mobile order-ahead apps and self-ordering kiosks. Data-driven convenience
The Applova digital ordering platform leverages artificial intelligence to help restaurant owners optimize inventory management by identifying ordering patterns and trends, Saparamadu said, adding that the system is designed to enhance, not replace existing POS systems, and includes the following components:
- Web ordering: Online orders, received by a smart POS device, are sent to a kitchen printer for processing, reducing manual entry errors and wait times.
- Mobile app ordering: Mobile orders, received by a smart POS device, are sent to a kitchen printer for processing, reducing manual entry errors and wait times.
- Self-ordering kiosk: Inside orders, processed via a self-service kiosk and routed through the smart POS to the kitchen printer, reduce manual entry errors, wait times and restaurant staff overhead.
"Our digital ordering platform builds on what restaurants already have while capturing and analyzing customer data," Saparamadu said. "Why outsource valuable customer data to a third-party service provider, when restaurants can capture and analyze the data to build brand value and customer loyalty?"
Proven, market-ready solution
Mobile ordering is a popular choice among consumers, and statistics have shown that customers prefer to order directly from restaurants instead of using third-party apps, Saparamadu stated. Restaurants that offer self-service and mobile ordering solutions have also reported an increase in customer spending, because the digital ordering experience makes it easier for them to add impulse items to their orders, and a 2018 study by Kiosk Marketplace indicated customers would visit a restaurant more frequently if kiosks were offered, he noted.
Applova supports multiple hardware platforms, including Clover, Elo, PAX and Verifone, and partners with leading payments industry acquirers, processors and ISOs.
