A Thing Reporting from Seminars

Reporting from Seminars

W e are reporting back from our first few Green Sheet Seminars (Financial Services Sales—The Road Ahead) in Atlanta, Dallas, and most recently Chicago. Here is what some of our attendees had to say about the seminars:

“This seminar is a real benefit to the industry, I am only sorry that I could not attend the entire day.”

Alan Gitles, founder of American National Bank Card Services.

“The conference was perfect. It provided many opportunities and just the right amount of information. We will be launching a new business venture shortly in the Financial Services space and this conference provided just the contacts and information that we need. Wonderfully done!”

Lester H. Keepper, Jr. President LHK Quality Associates.

In addition, we interviewed our speaker on Electronic Commerce, Ed Freedman of Total Merchant Services. Ed told us, “The Green Sheet Seminars have been a great opportunity for us to meet with experienced merchant bankcard professionals thirsty for knowledge on how to transition their business from assisting brick and mortar retailers, to assisting click and order e-tailers.”

The feedback we have been receiving tells us that from ISO attendees to banks to services providers, everyone is finding something of value in attending Financial Services Sales—The Road Ahead.

“This is the best event I have ever attended since I have been selling in the industry. Thanks for doing this, and for the information that The Green Sheet staff continues to provide the industry.”

Fred Spire

“I am surprised that so many people have questions about wireless products and about the opportunities wireless provides merchants and the sales professional. The opportunities for vendors to spend time with sales professionals at this event are terrific, and MIST is looking forward to putting together a Saturday event at both of the remaining seminars, to help illuminate the wireless opportunity.”

Michael Mulcahy, Executive Vice President, MIST (Mobile Information Solution Technologies).

Some attendees also shared their thoughts on the Total Merchant Services Saturday training:

“I thought I knew how the merchant bankcard industry operated. Well, this conference showed me otherwise. The training session gave me the information and tools I needed to get started selling business critical solutions to these new e-tailers. I’m looking forward to transitioning my business to focus on this exciting market.”
