VeriFone has introduced the Omni 3210, an improved version of the company's best-selling e-payment terminal, the Omni 3200. The 3210 features an internal PINpad for debit, electronic benefits transfer (EBT) and other PIN-based transactions.
Omni 3210 terminals are easy to install - merchants simply plug in the power cord, connect the phone line and begin doing business. There are no extra PINpads or cables to contend with. The high-speed integrated thermal printer, which operates at up to 12.5 lines per second, features a built-in paper cover and ribbonless output to reduce the number of moving parts that cause paper jams and other breakdowns.
The Omni 3210's internal PINpad with optional swivel stand allows merchants to add PIN-based transactions to their payment options.
"With the Omni 3210, merchants can choose the solution that works best for their environment," said Bud Waller, vice president and general manager of sales and marketing for VeriFone North America. "Now, merchants can extend the convenience of debit and EBT to their customers, all in one compact, integrated device."
The Omni 3210 is supported by VeriFone's five-year terminal/one-year printer and swivel stand warranty. In addition, the Omni 3210 runs with SoftPay software, so merchants can customize payment requirements to their needs. Merchants can choose from more than 100 configurable software options.
