Consumers are likely to buy more than one item when they purchase something from a vending machine using a credit or debit card. Also, with the cashless solution it is much easier for merchants to sell items in the machines with dollar values of $100 or more.

One of the latest developments to the cashless vending solution uses radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, which enables contactless vending payments.

Placement locations include hotels, amusement parks, sports stadiums and music events.
