According to Secur-Chex of Ft. Worth, Texas, the development of a check company is a First American Payment System, Inc. business solution.
Established in 1992 to complement First American's credit and debit card processing division, Secur-Chex offers check guarantee programs as well as check verification services.
A growth in service enhancement was aided by an equipment financing arrangement through another First American company, Merimac Capital.
"First American's product development team has written software programs that integrate all payment options in one terminal with one provider," according to Dane Young of Secur-Chex.
Secur-Chex check guarantee, POS debit, and all credit card processing are available from one source with one download, and one customer service number.
