VeriFone Goes Platinum
VeriFone has initiated it's new channel distribution program, the
Platinum Channel Program. The program is geared toward VeriFone's
domestic distributors and will provide enhanced product training,
marketing support materials, technical support services, and public
relations support. Distributors participating in the Platinum Program
will also have faster access to new merchant hardware.
According to the company, Platinum Program participants will sell
VeriFone products to financial institutions and other resellers who
will then sell the products to specialty retailers, restaurants, and
other merchants. The program's goal is to enable distributors to ship
and deliver VeriFone products faster and more efficiently.
Tom Alich, manager of Channel Sales for VeriFone said, "The
adoption of a multi-tiered distribution system is a natural evolution
in the marketplace and enables VeriFone and its distributors to
further strengthen their long standing leadership positions."
VeriFone has already established Platinum Channel Program
relationships with AMS, The Horizon Group, National Bankcard
Association, Novatek Corporation, Supply Xpress, and TASQ Technology.
