You may know that on-line bill payment isn't anything new, but
receiving your bills on-line is. Customers of Florida Power and
Light, and Northeast Utilities (New England's largest electric
utility system) are the most recent to be offered this ability
through the new "E-Bill" Service from CheckFree.
With the E-Bill system, customers of International Billing
Services, Southwestern Bell, Columbia Gas, Capstead Mortgage, and
other companies can receive their bills on-line free of charge.
Currently, more than 100 million consumer and business accounts can
send and receive payments through their PC.
Customers sign up through the CheckFree site or through the
