It's All About Image
Greenway Corporation has announced Global Interface, a module that provides access to check images from a check image server.
The Global Interface lets authorized users, including bank employees and home banking customers, access PrimeImage's database to view TIFF images of checks using a standard web browser.
According to Tommy Green, CEO of Greenway, "This is a significant enhancement because now anyone, with the proper security clearance, can pull check images immediately to handle a customer request without accessing the check imaging application."
United Bank of Griffin, in Griffin, Georgia, will be the first to use the products. According to Bert Watson of United Bank of Griffin, "By implementing PrimeImage check imaging system and web browser technology, we can reduce the research time on checks from three days to less than a minute."
