Checkmate
Wins $3 Million POS Order
Checkmate Electronics, Inc.,
has received an order from Eckerd Corporation for Checkmate's CM 2001
EBT/credit/debit terminal. The deal includes hardware and software
purchases of approximately $3 million and warranty purchases of more
than $300,000.
Eckerd choose the CM 2001

2,000 stores. The CM 2001 provides customer activated selection of
credit, debit, check, and EBT forms of payment.

Checkmate the dominant supplier of customer activated payment
solutions to drug stores in the U.S. Checkmate's check reading
technology has served Eckerd's and their parent company JC Penney
extremely well for many years."
