Lipman USA
(manufacturers of the NURIT point-of-sale products) sold a majority
ownership in its business to Digital SecurTrans, Inc. (DSTI) last
year. The sale is an effort to create expansion capabilities and to
maintain staying power in what is a difficult U.S. terminal
marketplace, according to a Lipman source.
Lipman USA has had
amazing results in its bottom up approach to the marketplace and the
company has courted and won numerous ISOs and banks due to the value
and simplicity of its terminal and software line.
Digital SecurTrans,
Inc., is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario and is actively seeking
investments in organizations in the equipment and related fields.
