AMS and
NBA
AMS and National
Bankcard Association, Inc. (NBA) have formed an alliance whereby NBA
will outsource all of its equipment deployment, repair, and supply
fulfillment to AMS. NBA will also move their wholesale division to
AMS.
Mark Leibowitz,
president of NBA said, "We get to focus all of our energies and
resources on our core merchant acquiring business, while outsourcing
to AMS the services they have clearly developed an expertise, as well
as an economies of scale, in."
Richard Graves,
President of AMS added, "In acquiring the NBA Wholesale Division, we
get the immediate benefit of an experienced sales team and a loyal
customer base to further leverage our existing infrastructure. The
terminal's management business has become increasingly sophisticated
and our investment in automation and remote management systems allows
us to provide services to customers such as NBA at a lower cost than
their internal operations can provide."
Don Harrington, EVP of
Wholesale Sales for NBA said, "Our salespeople will now be able to
offer the expanded product line and services of AMS, including full
deployment and inventory management services. Our customers will
clearly benefit and therefore so will we."
NBA is a subsidiary of
Electronic Processing, Inc., and has a merchant base of 13,000
merchants throughout the U.S. with annual charge volumes of $1
billion. AMS is a value added POS equipment reseller with more than
750,000 merchant locations.
