It's been coming for a while, but the future of making money via the ATM has finally arrived.
Financial Technologies, Inc., (FTI), one of the nation's fastest-growing independent deployers of ATMs in the country, has a lucrative new sales tool for generating alternative income for ISOs. By utilizing FTI's programmed terminals, merchants can sell prepaid phone cards, which are made available through an on-screen selection process. The customer using the service chooses an amount, which is then deducted from his or her card. Printing directly onto the ATM's receipt then creates the phone card, complete with a toll-free access number and PIN code for the customer to use. There is no physical inventory or shrink to bother the merchant. Phone time can be purchased in increments of $10 to $50.
FTI's system is also available through VeriFone and Lipman POS terminals and the same options apply as with FTI ATM terminals, industry equipment, software, ACH settlement and/or management of the terminal. According to Tommy Glenn, CEO and President of Financial Technologies, Inc., prepaid cellular cards, prepaid paging, local-dial tone, and a variety of other bill payment services will soon be available from your ATM or POS.
