CPS 45th in
Nation!
Card Payment
Systems, Inc., (CPS), New York, NY, has become the
forty-fifth-largest Merchant Acquirer in the United States. CPS
currently services more than 16,000 merchant locations nationally and
adds over 1500 new locations monthly. In 1999, CPS will process over
$1.3 billion in Visa and MasterCard sales.
Sound like a
company you would like to be affiliated with? CPS's ability to
underwrite "in-house" and to enroll merchants both on their front-end
authorization networks and back-end merchant accounting system on the
same day makes CPS unique in the industry. Liberal underwriting
criteria allows CPS to approve certain retailers regardless of
credit. CPS's sophisticated risk management system has the ability to
place high-risk merchants on suspense funding, which affords CPS time
to perform the necessary investigations.
EBT has been a
major growth factor for CPS. CPS places over 1 billion EBT
transactions via the BUYPASS authorization network every month. Larry
Stone, President and CEO of CPS stated some of the reasons CPS has
been so successful. "CPS has always been a leader in providing the
newest payment processing products," Stone said. "We were the first
to provide integrated debit processing at the point of sale in our
region. We were one of the first to provide EBT processing
nationally. And we are now offering our Authorize.Net reseller
program to ISOs/agents for the most up-to-date e-Commerce
processing."
Agents for CPS
have the option of using the Card Payment Systems name and logo, or
CPS can register another name with National City Bank (CPS's clearing
bank), which allows CPS to provide full-service capability at a low
cost to the ISO. CPS can extend a shared profitability to ISOs based
on "true" interchange net revenues, less CPS core transaction costs.
CPS can tailor a program for specific ISO needs, allowing the agent
to be extremely competitive in the market.
