Webinar: Alkami Brings Implementation Expertise to the Digital Banking “Stay-or-Switch?” Decision

Leaders from National Exchange Bank & Trust and Tri City National Bank, along with Alkami implementation experts, will discuss how to evaluate the full operational impact of a platform change and prepare for conversion.

October 6, 2026 (Plano, Texas) – Alkami Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALKT) (“Alkami”), a provider of digital sales and service solutions for financial institutions in the U.S., today announced an upcoming webinar hosted with ProSight Financial Association, “Stay or Switch? A Practical Playbook for Digital Banking Platform Decisions and Implementation.” The webinar will take place Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 2 p.m. ET.

The webinar explores what it really takes to move to a new digital banking platform, and why staying with legacy technology can carry its own potential consequences when it no longer supports an institution’s strategic or operational goals. Speakers will share lessons from recent digital banking conversions and discuss how implementation factors can inform the platform decision before a provider is selected.

“Staying with your current provider can feel like the safer choice because the challenges of switching are easier to see,” said Nicholas Bandoch, senior vice president and chief brand officer, Tri City National Bank. “But you also have to look at what happens if you don’t make a change. For us, that meant asking whether our platform was evolving fast enough to meet our customers’ needs and deliver the experience we wanted our brand to provide.”

The discussion will address the work that can begin well ahead of conversion, including cleaning account holder data, identifying integrations and institution-specific processes, assembling cross-functional teams, and establishing project ownership. Speakers will also discuss how testing, employee preparation, call-center capacity, account holder communications, and post-launch support can affect the experience once a new platform goes live.

Featured speakers include:

Julie Stigler, vice president, eBanking, National Exchange Bank & Trust Nicholas Bandoch, senior vice president and chief brand officer, Tri City National Bank Robert Martinez-Harrison, senior director, implementation services, Alkami Katie Doll, director, services operations, Alkami “One of the most important lessons is to identify specific integrations, processes, and operational requirements early in the project,” said Julie Stigler, vice president, eBanking, National Exchange Bank & Trust. “Every financial institution is different, and understanding those details during evaluation and scoping can help prevent surprises later in the project.”

During the session, speakers will discuss:

Why implementation readiness should be considered during platform evaluation, including early data preparation and integration discovery. How cross-functional teams, dedicated project ownership, and clear checkpoints can keep a conversion moving. How testing and employee preparation can help institutions identify issues and prepare support teams ahead of launch. How to plan for go-live and monitor adoption, account holder feedback, and support needs after launch. “Our research found that 27% of digital banking decision-makers say a better digital banking experience would get them to consider switching platforms,” said Wayne McCulloch, chief customer officer at Alkami.1 “Alkami brings implementation expertise into the evaluation process to help financial institutions map the work, surface potential challenges earlier, and build a clear path to launch.”
