PAYDO CEO SERHII ZAKHAROV WINS FINTECH WEEK DUBAI AWARD AS COMPANY CAPS OFF LANDMARK YEAR OF GROWTH AND INDUSTRY RECOGNITION
Dubai, March 20, 2026—PayDo has continued a strong run of momentum in 2026, with CEO and Founder Serhii Zakharov receiving the Excellence in Financial Leadership Award in the Digital Payments Innovation category at FinTech Week Dubai.
Held on 16 and 17 February and organised by The People Events, the award recognised Zakharov’s role in building a unified financial ecosystem designed to reduce the operational complexity online businesses face when managing multiple payment providers, banking relationships and fragmented financial infrastructure. The recognition further validates Zakharov’s standing as an individual driving meaningful change within the fintech sector.
The award marks another milestone in a standout period for both Zakharov and PayDo, capping off a landmark year for the company. Over the past 12 months, Zakharov has appeared on main stages at major fintech events across Amsterdam, Rome, London and other international industry hubs, helping to build PayDo’s profile as a company with a clear vision for the future of financial infrastructure for digital businesses.
In addition to receiving the award, Zakharov delivered a keynote at FinTech Week Dubai titled “The Consolidation Imperative: Why Every Online Business Needs One Financial Partner”, making the case that fragmented financial service models create unnecessary operational drag for modern businesses. At a time when companies around the world are facing growing margin pressure, such inefficiencies now represent key strategic concerns.
Speaking on the growing issue, Zakharov commented: “The more fragmented your financial setup becomes, the harder it is to move quickly, maintain visibility and deliver a smooth customer experience. Let’s face it, businesses care about scaling, not managing multiple counterparties. That’s why we are building the infrastructure that turns payment complexity into a competitive advantage.”
To further explore this theme, Zakharov and the PayDo team set to appear at PAY360 at London’s ExCeL Centre from 25 to 26 March, where he will deliver another keynote address. His session, “From Simple Engines to Innovative Ecosystems: The Evolution of Financial Problem-Solving,” will explore the real cost of payment complexity through the lens of PayDo’s seven-year evolution and more than €5 billion in annual processing volume.
Taking place from 12:40pm to 1:05pm on Thursday 26 March at the event’s Global Exchange Stage, the address will set forth a practical framework for evaluating payment partners across pricing transparency, onboarding, API quality and user experience.
