RPass by RemitBee Now Supports CADD-Funded Global Business Payments Across 100+ Countries

nership connects CADD, Tetra Digital Group’s Canadian digital dollar, to RPass, RemitBee’s global payments platform, enabling businesses to use a single API to fund eligible international payments across more than 100 countries and 100 currencies. CALGARY, Alberta & TORONTO, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RemitBee and Tetra Digital Group today announced that CADD is live as a funding option in RPass, RemitBee’s global business payments platform. The integration creates the first global off-ramp for CADD, enabling businesses to fund international payments in digital Canadian dollars and deliver local currency to recipients across more than 100 countries.

“We built CADD to expand what’s possible with the Canadian dollar. Connecting CADD with RPass gives businesses a practical way to fund international payments in Canadian dollars and reach recipients around the world in their local currency." Share The collaboration brings together CADD, Tetra Digital Group’s Canadian digital dollar, with RPass’s FX, banking, clearing and local payout capabilities. CADD launched in May 2026 as Canada’s first CAD-backed stablecoin issued by a regulated financial institution. Built on more than a decade of RemitBee’s experience in international remittances, RPass gives businesses access to its global payments infrastructure through a single integration.

The launch comes as stablecoins gain traction in cross-border business payments. Cross-border B2B stablecoin payments are projected to grow from $13.4 billion in 2026 to $5 trillion by 2035, according to Juniper Research. Today, stablecoin payment activity remains heavily concentrated in US-dollar-denominated tokens, which can introduce an additional CAD-to-USD conversion. CADD allows businesses to fund payments directly in Canadian dollars, while RPass manages foreign exchange conversion and delivery through local payment rails, providing a more direct path from CAD to international payout.

“Stablecoins have solved how value moves on-chain, but a token is only as useful as the places it can go,” said Yogi Yoganathan, CEO, RPass. “We spent a decade building the unglamorous parts of global payments: the banking relationships, the liquidity, and the clearing connections in every corridor. Connecting RPass to CADD means a business can fund a payment in digital Canadian dollars and have a supplier on the other side of the world receive funds in their local currency. That’s how we turn an on-chain asset into something businesses can actually use globally.”

RPass provides a single API that enables fintechs and businesses to embed CADD-funded international payments directly into their products and operations. RPass provides access to foreign exchange conversion through its liquidity infrastructure and delivers funds through supported local rails, including bank deposits, mobile wallets and cash pickup.

Through the combined offering, participating businesses will be able to:

Fund eligible international payments using CADD

Access foreign exchange conversion through RPass’s liquidity infrastructure

Reach more than 4 billion bank accounts through 1,000+ local payout methods

Embed international payments directly into products and workflows through the RPass API

“We built CADD to expand what’s possible with the Canadian dollar,” said Didier Lavallée, CEO of Tetra Digital Group. “Connecting CADD with RPass gives businesses a practical way to fund international payments in Canadian dollars and reach recipients around the world in their local currency. This is exactly the kind of real-world utility we set out to enable with CADD, and an important step in expanding where and how the Canadian dollar can move digitally.”

The offering is now live, with RPass initially onboarding payment providers, marketplaces, payroll platforms, importers and exporters with significant cross-border payment needs.
