PCI SSC announces 2025-2027 Advisory Board

WAKEFIELD, Mass., 30 May 2025 — The PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) announced the newly elected 2025-2027 Board of Advisors. The Board of Advisors represents the Council’s Participating Organizations (POs) worldwide to ensure global industry involvement in the development of PCI SSC standards and programs. As strategic partners, they are representative of the market and bring geographical and technical insights to the Council.

PCI SSC works with organizations around the globe to help secure payment data, and this latest Board of Advisors brings together some of the world’s leading companies from all sectors and global regions in the payments space. New this term, in recognition of the ever-changing needs of the payments industry, the Board of Advisors has expanded to a record 64 stakeholders to provide a greater range of input to the Council. The Board of Advisors will also have the responsibility to vote on new standards and major revisions of existing standards prior to release.

“This expanded Board will help ensure greater global input into our payment security standards, providing even more opportunities for discussion and collaboration with some of the most innovative voices in our industry,” said PCI SSC Executive Director Gina Gobeyn. “In the rapidly changing world of payment security, more than ever, we depend on the guidance and foresight provided by our advisors to understand and address the new challenges that confront our industry. We are excited to get to work with this new Board.”
