Nayax Introduces EV Meter to Support Destination Charging Across the UK and Europe

All-in-one AC charging solution combines EV charger hardware, embedded payments and charge point management software for commercial destinations

HERZLIYA, Israel. 9 June 2026: Nayax (Nasdaq: NYAX; TASE: NYAX), the global commerce enablement, payments and loyalty platform, has begun rolling out EV Meter across the UK and Europe, an all-in-one AC charging solution for commercial sites looking to offer and manage paid electronic vehicle (EV) charging.

Rising EV adoption is increasing demand for charging in the places drivers already use day to day, from hotels and campsites to car parks and retail destinations. In the EU, battery-electric cars accounted for 19.4% of new car registrations in Q1 2026, up from 15.2% a year earlier, while the UK recorded its strongest-ever month for battery-electric car registrations in March 2026.

For site owners, this raises a practical question of how to offer paid charging in a way that is commercially viable, straightforward to run, and easy for drivers to use. EV Meter aims to address that by bringing together Nayax’s payment technology, charger hardware, and cloud-based charge point management system into a single set-up, reducing the need to coordinate separate providers.

Built for commercial destinations such as hotels, B&Bs, campsites, holiday parks and car parks, EV Meter is suited to locations where drivers typically leave their vehicles for several hours. The range includes single-socket and dual-socket 22kW AC chargers, enabling operators to serve one or two vehicles from a single installation depending on site requirements.

Sitting between slower residential chargers and higher-cost DC rapid chargers, EV Meter is positioned for destination charging, where dwell time is longer and rapid charging is not always required.

Drivers can view tariff information, see payment authorisation details, start a charging session and track it through a QR code. The mobile interface allows drivers to track charging progress, energy usage and cost while away from the vehicle, with digital receipts available by email at the end of the transaction.

For operators, Nayax’s charge point management system supports remote monitoring and management of charging infrastructure, helping businesses control charger availability, transactions and usage from a central platform.

Andy Knight, Energy Sales Director at Nayax, commented: “Payments are central to making EV charging work commercially, but they are only one part of what site owners need. Drivers need to know what they are paying, how to start a session, and how to track it once they leave the vehicle.

“For site owners – like hotels, campsites, holiday parks and car parks – our EV Meter offers a straightforward way to add paid charging on site, with the charger, payment terminal, payment processing and charge point management system working together from the start.

“As a regulated payments institution with its own EV charger, Nayax can provide an integrated, compliant approach to commercial EV charging.”

EV Meter is already live across the UK, including at Arle Court Park and Ride in Gloucester, where Nayax EV charging technology supports one of the UK’s larger destination charging deployments, operated by Connected Kerb.

The announcement builds on Nayax’s growing role in the EV charging sector, following its recent membership of ChargeUK, the UK’s national trade association for the EV charging industry. The company continues to work with charge point operators, infrastructure partners and site owners using Nayax payment technology with third-party chargers and software platforms.
