3Delta Systems appoints Merrigan VP of Sales

Chantilly, Va., Feb. 22, 2012 – 3Delta Systems, Inc.® (3DSI), a leader in online business-to-business (B2B) payment card processing and data security, announced today that Diane Merrigan has joined the company’s management team as vice president of sales.

With nearly 20 years of B2B sales experience in the payments industry, Merrigan will focus on growing sales among mid-size and enterprise-level merchants for 3DSI’s products and services, including the company’s high-performance payment processing platform, Payment WorkSuite®. She will also help enhance 3DSI’s channel partner services for B2B customers and broaden sales among acquirers and Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs).

Before joining 3Delta Systems, she was with Heartland Payment Systems for 13 years, most recently as director of national accounts. In that role, she was responsible for leading and growing the B2B channel – from advancing Heartland’s technology options among B2B customers to creating a B2B training manual for the sales team. While at Heartland, Merrigan also served as director of B2B market, was a B2B market specialist as well as a relationship manager.

Between 1991 – 1997, Merrigan held sales and sales support positions with Epic Enterprises, Oasys, Computer Doctor and Delco Systems, all in southern California. Merrigan earned an undergraduate degree in English from the University of California-Santa Barbara.
