Behrend joins International Merchant Solutions as New Agent Relations Manager

Matawan, N.J., Feb. 5, 2008 -- International Merchant Solutions, LLC (IMS) announced today the appointment of Wendy Behrend as the company’s Agent Relations Manager. In this position, she will be responsible for keeping the company’s more than 300 agent partners informed of new solutions, programs and procedures, as well as new agent recruitment and retention.

“We’re pleased to welcome Wendy to our team,” said Managing member Ken Baldo. “Her payment industry experience and proven success record with client services will be great assets to our company. With Wendy on board, we will be able to provide our agents with more personalized service, while expanding our solutions department.”

Behrend has been involved in the payment industry for almost ten years. Her most recent position was as Channel Manager for Pay By Touch. In this position, she was responsible for helping clients through all stages of the merchant account process, as well as post approval follow-ups. She also acted as a liaison between the company’s partners and clients. Prior to this position, Behrend held several inside sales and customer service posts within I Bill, a company which was eventually purchased by Pay By Touch.

Rose Tori, formerly in charge of agent relations and a key employee of the company since it’s founding, will be transferring to the company’s solutions department. Baldo explains that as agents require increasingly more creative solutions, Tori’s skills have become necessary to the success of this department.
