Delight restaurateurs, customers with tailored POS solutions

Bluu Inc., a POS company formerly known as United POS Solutions Inc., enhanced its comprehensive line of restaurant solutions designed to help all types of restaurants improve business management and the customer experience. Bluu representatives mentioned that the company's integrated payment and POS solutions are continuously updated to meet the evolving needs of merchants and consumers across channels and food-service environments.The company noted that its bluu Restaurant technology suite serves a diverse constituency of restaurateurs, from fine dining to fast casual, quick serve and self-attended venues. All solutions are designed to efficiently connect guests and wait staff, front- and back-of-house operations, and ordering and delivery services. Representatives cited the following examples:
In addition to its flagship restaurant solutions, Bluu's value-added products can be used as stand-alone solutions or as integrated modules within restaurant POS systems. For example, epipay and epipay smarter are available as online ordering modules for bluu Restaurant software and bluu Restaurant Pro, the company noted.
Customers can use these online tools to place orders and receive real-time notifications and email confirmations. In-house guests can use the bluu Order app to place orders from mobile devices, without needing a server to take orders at the table.
When ready, servers will deliver food to the customer's table. Delivery drivers can receive orders directly from restaurants and payments directly from customers, using epiway, an Android solution with in-app navigation to ensure prompt and accurate delivery.
Busy eateries can use bluu Queue to improve table turn and increase staff efficiency, decrease errors and improve customer satisfaction. Restaurant owners can also design loyalty programs with FlexGift, a cost-effective marketing tool designed to help merchants drive repeat business by turning infrequent buyers into regular customers, the company added.
Philip Mun, assistant director of marketing at Bluu Inc., stated that bluu Restaurant solutions are reliable and easy to use. "ISOs and merchant level salespeople can offer bluu Restaurant's tailored, cost-effective solutions to all types of restaurants," he said.
"Merchants can accept online orders, process payments, and manage deliveries with Epiway and use Bluu Cloud Services to showcase their brands with a custom webpage and Android app."These solutions offer a full range of capabilities, customizable management features and back-office tools, which merchants can leverage to gain customer insights and manage employee, vendor, and inventory relationships, Mun noted. Business management features, for example, enable restaurants to manage floor plans, menu items and reporting tools. Customer management tools integrate customer orders with the FlexGift loyalty program.
Employee management tools track employee schedules, timesheets and payroll, and offer built-in training modes for new employees. Reservation management tools support walk-in guests and confirm online orders and reservations by email. And operations management enables restaurants to easily join or split tables and checks and manage cash accurately, Mun pointed out.
In today's omnichannel commerce environment, restaurants need systems that seamlessly connect reservations, orders and payments with business management, Mun stated, and bluu Restaurant can do all of this and more.
