AMVO, a nonprofit trade association established in 2014, works with Mexican and international commerce brands, from startups to global enterprises. "We represent all ecommerce companies in Mexico and develop tools to support the growth of these companies, working with government to grow the ecosystem and report on its development and news," the organization stated on its website while also inviting interested parties to connect and learn more about adjacent opportunities in Mexico's "thriving" business community.
AMVO representatives further noted that Hot Sale deals will span the retail spectrum with offerings from Home Depot, PayPal, American Eagle, Sears, Adidas, Nespresso, Ray Ban, Office Depot, Walmart, Sam's Club and Johnny Walker. The event will bring together travel, beauty, fashion, furniture, home goods, automotive, consumer electronics, pets, financial, luxury and B2B categories, they stated, adding that they will reinvest funds raised from sponsors and patrons in marketing campaigns aimed at driving more traffic to the www.hotsale.com.mx site.
Kueski, a Latin American buy now, pay later (BNPL) provider, disclosed on April 12, 2022, that it will host a pre-event sale on May 23, 2022, immediately before Hot Sale officially opens. Designed to promote the company's BNPL solution, Kueski Pay, the event will provide early access to Hot Sale promotions to consumers who choose Kueski Pay at checkout, according to Adalberto Flores, founder and CEO of Kueski.
"E-commerce plays an important role in expanding opportunities for SMEs throughout Mexico, while offering consumers broader access to competitive products and services," Flores said. "Kueski Pay bridges the gap between Mexico's unbanked population – which has been excluded from participating in the e-commerce market – by providing access to a digital payment method that requires no bank account while extending access to interest-free and transparent financing options."
Flores went on to say that Kueski leverages AI and machine learning to power its credit decisioning. The fintech recently processed nearly $1 billion in revenue across 6 million consumer loans and its BNPL product is offered in over 700 stores throughout Mexico, with more near-term integrations planned, he stated.
Pierre Blaise, general director of AMVO, thanked Kueski for its sponsorship, stating it supports AMVO's goal of reducing the financial gap. "The integration of Kueski Pay as the main sponsor of the ninth edition of HOT SALE reflects a natural evolution to get more people to participate in the digital economy and e-commerce in Mexico," he said.
Blaise encouraged small and midsize enterprises to attend AMVO's webinar on April 20, 2022, to learn how they can make the most of Mexico's largest online sales campaign. The free event will feature retail leaders with tips and best practices on how to prepare for the Hot Sale event, he noted.

AMVO also offers customized consulting, training programs and digital resources to help shape the future of online retail. AMVO representatives work directly with organizations to generate unique content in different verticals, categories and business sectors, Blaise said.
