The slate of nominees includes:
Lesser served as NAOPP 2007 Vice President. He's been in the payments industry for nine years. Previously he owned a biomedical company. As President of a church youth group, he grew membership from 25 to 125. He is also active in other groups such as chambers of commerce, ambassador and sales clubs, and networking organizations.
A 12-year veteran of the payments industry, Fortney has 31 years of combined financial services and banking industry experience. He has served the industry in many capacities and is an accomplished sales trainer.
Solomon, President of Fast Transact Inc., became a merchant level salesperson (MLS) in 1995, along with her husband, David. Together they built a company that now has 30 employees and several agent offices nationwide. She is involved in numerous community organizations.
Terms for new officers will begin Jan. 1, 2008.
NAOPP is a nonprofit organization striving to bridge the gap between MLSs and other segments of the payments industry.
