Cybersecurity coalition emerges

Trade associations representing
merchant and financial servic-
es interests have begun working
together to explore ways to increase
information sharing across groups,
improve card security and main-
tain consumer trust. Participants
joining forces as of February 2014
include the Retail Industry Leaders
Association, American Bankers
Association, American Hotel &
Lodging Association, Electronic
Transactions Association, National
Restaurant Association and
National Retail Federation, among
others.
