        to spread worldwide, chargebacks were described                                   payments
        as a multibillion dollar threat to the integrity of card
        payments.  And researchers estimated the number of
        transactions disputed annually would grow to 33 mil-                           professionals
        lion by 2022. We cannot yet predict what sort of spike
        cancellations and disputed transactions stemming from
        the coronavirus might cause.
