Internet PIN debit authentication provider Acculynk unveiled the Tokenized Java Script Wrapper. The technology tokenizes card information entered into Acculynk's PaySecure online graphical PIN pad online and on mobile devices.
AGR Group Inc., which provides sales and support to the retail energy industry, became Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard compliant. ControlScan performed the audit that recognized AGR as a PCI-validated Level 1 service provider.
Cubic Transportation Systems Inc., a division of Cubic Corp., was awarded a $1.5 million contract to provide electronic ticketing equipment maintenance for the North San Diego County Transit District. Cubic also operates the Compass smart card transit payments system in the city of San Diego.
Cloud-based payment solution provider GoPago Inc. signed over 20 value-added reseller organizations in the United States to distribute its POS, mobile POS and online storefront solutions to merchants. In the third round of its Danny's Wish program, IRN Payment Systems donated 50 more Apple Inc. iPads to the families of autistic children. The program, named after the autistic son of IRN President Amedeo "Dino" Sgueglia, is part of IRN's fundraising platform, The Hope Process, which allows a percentage of credit card processing fees to be donated to charity.
NCR Corp. said Boston Market Corp. started to deploy the NCR RealPOS 72XRT in over 460 fast casual restaurant locations across the United States. The terminals offer new applications, remote manageability and enhanced security, NCR noted.
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) payment firm Paymetric Inc. received a majority investment from technology-focused private equity firm Francisco Partners. While financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, Paymetric said the funds would be used to launch new modules and extend capabilities to meet customers' expanding needs.

PreCash Inc. unveiled Evolve Money, an online and mobile app that allows consumers to track and pay bills without needing bank accounts, bankcards or prepaid cards. Consumers purchase load packs or PINs at retail locations and then use smartphones, tablets or PCs to make payments electronically.
Europay/MasterCard/Visa (EMV) chip card program integrator Primax joined the Smart Card Alliance to promote the adoption of EMV technology in the United States. Primax said it was one of the first U.S. companies to implement EMV for a U.S. financial institution.

Singular Payments LLC entered a strategic alliance with Kindable to launch its donation, volunteer and event management SaaS application as a fully integrated payment acceptance module powered by Singular. With the integration of Kindable, which also integrates with the SaleForce Nonprofit Edition, Singular expects to simplify electronic payment and donation acceptance for nonprofits that deploy the new module, the company said.
VeriFone Inc. integrated Hailo's third-party e-hailing application with VeriFone's open application programming interface cloud platform, making it possible for passengers to pay for fares on e-hailed trips in New York City, where VeriFone's Way2ride mobile payments app is deployed in more than 7,000 NYC yellow taxis, the company stated.
