ANXeBusiness Corp. teamed with Bluefin Payment Systems to deliver a suite of layered security services and tools for merchants. The partnership combines ANX's managed services with Bluefin's Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS)-validated point-to-point encryption (P2PE) solution, Decryptx, designed to protect all types of merchants.
The companies noted that cardholder data, encrypted at card swipe or entry, is sent to a secure decryption site. Encryption/decryption keys are kept out of merchants' scope, further reducing risk. The solution runs on PCI PTS listed SRED devices.
Jeffrey Schroeder, Bluefin Payment Systems Chief of Marketing and Strategy, said the PCI Security Standards Council validated P2PE solution will simplify PCI for merchants. "Per the PCI regulations, only council-listed solutions can receive the benefits of reduced SAQ requirements," he said. "Our product provides ISOs a major differentiator in the market."
SecurePCI Validated P2PE bundles up-to-date security technology with services to keep merchants secure and compliant, the companies stated. These include a validated P2PE method powered by Bluefin; validated POS that meets the October 2015 Europay/MasterCard/Visa mandate; ample retroactive data breach protection; portal tools to simplify PCI compliance; enterprise-grade managed security technology for layered security to reduce the risk of a data breach; PCI Self-Assessment Questionnaire wizard with Q&A support; PCI e-learning courses (versions for cashier and owner); and security policy templates.
SecurePCI Validated P2PE Premium adds the following services: external vulnerability scanning; unified threat management/anti-malware, intrusion detection and web content filtering; secure remote access with two-factor authentication; rogue wireless detection; internal scanning; managed Wi-Fi; and 3G/4G failover support.
