Simplify cash or credit decisions with dual pricing at the POS

Product: Dual-pricing POS
Company: Snack POS

Snack POS, a processor-agnostic restaurant POS software service provider, added a dual pricing feature to its restaurant POS software. The solution is designed to simplify checkout decisions for restaurants and their guests, the company stated, noting the POS terminal clearly displays both credit card and cash payment options, side by side, at the time of sale.

Shmuly Preizler, CEO of Snack, mentioned that dual-pricing complements the company's restaurant POS software, which includes a range of other features, such as menu management, order management, payment processing, reporting and online ordering and delivery services.

"We understand the challenges that restaurants face when it comes to managing costs and profitability, especially in today's competitive market," he said. "Our new dual pricing feature is designed to help restaurants reduce the impact of credit card processing fees on their bottom line, while also providing customers with flexibility in their payment options."

Improve efficiencies

Preizler further noted that restaurants can leverage the dual pricing feature to customize fee amounts as well as cash payment discount amounts, to suit their individual needs. In addition, he pointed out the feature includes reporting capabilities that enable participating restaurants to track credit card fees and discounts and assess their impact on profitability over time.

"We're excited to offer this new feature to our customers, and we're confident that it will help them to run their businesses more efficiently and profitably," he stated, adding the company is focused on providing excellent POS software that helps restaurants streamline their operations, improve efficiencies and provide a seamless experience for their customers and staff.

Flexible, customizable solutions

Preizler stated that Snack helps resellers and clients customize solutions and create the right combination of hardware and software to meet their needs, and companies can add their logos and line item messages to customer receipts, which can be printed, emailed or texted after a sale.

Restaurants can track sales, inventory, employees and manage multiple stores under one account, and all of the company's solutions are securely stored and accessible in remote cloud-based servers, he added.

Intuitive user interfaces make the solutions easy for employees and customers with little orientation needed, Preizler explained, noting that employees can quickly look up products and customers by typing in keywords or using barcode scanners. The company listed several additional features and benefits of Snack POS through which restaurants can:

  • Control their cash flow with till management, using permission settings and logs that track activity to ensure cash is where it should be.
  • Work offline and continue to sell during a power outage or internet failure and Snack POS will automatically resync sales when they get back online.
  • Split payments, allowing their customers choose how to pay by supporting split payments from multiple parties. Options include split by item, custom amount and split by guest.
  • Pool tips using pre-set tip options in the POS for tip reporting and management.
  • Enjoy compliant cash discount and surcharging programs when offering customers cash discount options or implementing compliant credit card surcharging in states where the practice is permitted.

Resellers, channel partners welcome

Snack POS is a fast-growing processor-agnostic restaurant software provider, Preizler noted, and the company's solutions work across all channels, supporting all types of food service businesses and venues.

The company supports its growing family of reseller and sales channel partners, he added, by giving them comprehensive, cutting-edge tools, unprecedented support and flexibility to succeed in today's rapidly changing business environment. end of article
