Product: Mobile messaging compliance suite
Company: SnippetSentry
SnippetSentry, a provider of mobile communication compliance solutions, launched its latest offering, the first in a series of mobile communication services designed to help heavily regulated companies maintain control and oversight over mobile communications. The SaaS-based solution can help financial service providers leverage modern communication tools efficiently while complying with industry regulations, stated Eddie Green, CEO of SnippetSentry.
"The increasing use of mobile technology in the workplace creates a significant challenge for organizations, especially those operating as highly regulated entities that grapple with how to monitor mobile messaging app communications," he said. "Our mission is to ensure that mobile communication compliance is never a bottleneck to business growth and increased ROI." Green also noted that the solution is cost-effective, requires minimal IT involvement and will not affect user behavior. The solution safeguards mobile messaging transmitted over unauthorized mobile communication channels on Apple and Android devices in addition to providing and storing an unalterable record of every message ever sent on a participating customer's premises, he added.
Green went on to say that the core idea behind SnippetSentry is to enable businesses to leverage efficiency and effectiveness in the following ways:
"We recognize the growing importance of text communication in modern business operations, especially with customers and younger employees," he said, noting that texting has evolved, particularly among younger workers, into a sophisticated means of communication comparable to email. Compliance, he added, is non-negotiable in text communication.
Green pointed out that SnippetSentry is designed for seamless deployment and requires minimal IT involvement. In addition to being easy to use, he noted, the SaaS-based solution does not change user behavior. Feedback has been positive, and implementations have been straightforward and easy without requiring complex, lengthy integrations, he added. SnippetSentry securely captures and safeguards mobile messaging app communications across a range of mobile communication channels, including iMessage, Android SMS, and WhatsApp, Green explained. He additionally noted that the solution is compatible with Apple and Android devices and requires no customization. "Our compliance solution is the first in a series of mobile communication services designed to help heavily regulated companies maintain control and oversight over their mobile communications," he said.
Describing SnippetSentry as a simple, easy, "set-it-and-forget-it" service, Green said its tools can help ISOs and merchant services providers achieve regulatory compliance while leveraging modern and emerging communication tools. Onboarding requires a one-time login and is done in three easy steps in less than three minutes, he stated, noting that once the onboarding is complete, the solution seamlessly operates in the background as it builds a reliable and unalterable record of every message ever sent. These records are permanently stored on the customer's premises for increased privacy and control, he added.
Green summarized SnippetSentry's primary goal as sublimating compliance by seamlessly integrating it into organizational operations, thereby empowering businesses to meet compliance obligations, without sacrificing productivity. "SnippetSentry is addressing one of the most significant gaps in today's enterprise security posture: mobile data transmissions," he said. "Through our dynamic platform and proactive approach, we help organizations in heavily regulated industries, achieve effective compliance management and faster growth."
