Product: Omni
Company: Fattmerchant Inc.
Fattmerchant Inc. launched Omni, a comprehensive platform designed to grow with a merchant's business. Created to deliver a seamless experience, the integrated platform connects multiple touchpoints, vendors, business units and channels, company representatives stated.
"Many service providers claim to be omnichannel, but few platforms provide bi-directional communication across all devices and channels to bring data into a single place," said Suneera Madhani, CEO and co-founder of Fattmerchant. "Whether merchants want to add a POS terminal, shopping cart or mobile device to their networks, Omni can facilitate these requests and more."
Madhani additionally noted that Omni integrates directly into QuickBooks, Salesforce and POS systems through an open API, displaying real-time, aggregated data from multiple sources on a secure merchant dashboard. The more merchants add to it, the more they get out of it, she stated, adding that it's a powerful tool for accountants and controllers and simple for business owners to use.
Omni's personalized dashboard provides a single access view of transaction data and customer analytics across online and in-store payment channels. Merchants can view and export data from multiple locations using the platform's customized reporting tools.
The payments platform integrates bi-directionally with QuickBooks Online and other business software, enabling merchants to report and send payments to their chosen ecommerce solutions. The technology suite includes an array of business management tools and applications.
Fattmerchant's Marketplace is a centralized location for business supplies, resources and solutions, including Fattmerchant's real-time, bi-directional QuickBooks Online integration tool. The Marketplace also provides developers with Fattmerchant's modern RESTful API, JavaScript library and software development kits for Android and iOS applications.
Omni's virtual terminal offers simple invoicing, recurring charges and online bill pay. The terminal can seamlessly integrate with other POS systems, giving merchants the flexibility to complete transactions on mobile devices or bi-directionally synchronize with QuickBooks Online for real-time reconciliations. The virtual terminal streamlines customer management by securely storing customer profiles and histories, managing recurring payments and updating payment cards on file. Merchants can efficiently track inventory items, update discounts and pricing and manage automated receipts and due date reminders to ensure timely payments, the company noted.
Merchants can create secure payment links on the virtual terminal through payment buttons on websites or by accessing Fattmerchant's web-based payment portal and hosted payments pages. Additional POS options include mobile payment card readers and Android and iOS mobile apps designed for active business owners who need to accept payments from anywhere.
By combining omnichannel technology with subscription-based pricing, Fattmerchant's Omni platform enables its members to securely accept card-present and card-not-present payments transactions through a variety of solutions within a single API, company representatives stated. The platform aggregates sales trends, customer information, inventory management, transaction histories, batch reports, account information. By consolidating solutions, tools and capabilities into a single integrated platform, Omni provides merchants with a simplified approach to managing their businesses and processing payments.
"Until now, the biggest thing missing from most payment platforms was simplicity," said Jacques Fu, Fattmerchant chief technology officer and co-founder. "Omni provides business owners the simplicity of having all of their most vital business solutions in one place, coupled with the power and reliability of Fattmerchant's processing tools
