Product: Payouts
Company: Finix
Finix, a payments technology provider enabling businesses to accept and send payments online or in-person, launched Payouts, a solution designed to enable businesses to efficiently send money at scale, regardless of whether they utilize the broader Finix paytech platform.
Richie Serna, CEO and co-founder of Finix, noted that businesses frequently encounter obstacles and delays when sending money at scale.
"Teams may face cumbersome technical integrations, manual payment operation workflows, and cash flow challenges, which can create a reconciliation nightmare," he said. "With Finix Payouts, companies of all sizes can get started in a few hours, configure their payment flows and methods to satisfy their business needs, help alleviate complications and intermediaries, and start sending money without spending an extensive amount of time or resources."
Noting that Payouts frees teams to focus on priorities, Serna went on to say that the solution can benefit a range of business types and industries. Use Payouts to send funds directly to a bank account or payment card in real time, he said, noting the platform provides a simple way to send out wages, tips, tax rebates, insurance claims and other AP scenarios.
Using Mastercard Send and Visa Direct for card-based payouts, Finix Payouts allows U.S. businesses to quickly send money to bank accounts or eligible cards, Serna stated, citing the following features and benefits:
Silvana Hernandez, executive vice president, product and engineering, North America, for Mastercard, pointed out that securely accessing funds is essential to today's digital-first environment. "By working with Finix, we're helping businesses meet the demands of our always-on digital world, enabling them to seamlessly integrate Mastercard Send into their day-to-day operations to move money safer, faster and more efficiently," she said.
Yanilsa Gonzalez-Ore, North America head at Visa Direct, noted that having a single point of access is critical to participating in today's global economy. "This collaboration [between Visa and Finix] reflects our shared commitment to streamlining global money movement, and we're excited to bring streamlined disbursement capabilities to more businesses across the U.S., enabled by Visa Direct," she said.
Finix representatives stated that the company is a full-stack payment processor and infrastructure provider that powers startups to publicly traded companies such as Clubessential, Passport, Kabbage and other leading brands. Leading software platforms, marketplaces, retailers, and e-commerce businesses use Finix's universal payments API and dashboard to accept payments, automate workflows, enhance customer experiences, and quickly grow revenue, they noted.
Finix's reliable, flexible platform is designed to give companies and developers maximum control over payments from low-code, no-code tools to flexible features that can enhance product lines and payment capabilities, the company stated. Businesses can select from hundreds of features to configure the ideal payment solution, Finix added, noting that its platform and technology suite are designed to scale with businesses and power their growth.
