A uthorize.Net Corporation, an Internet payment authorization service for online businesses, recently received certification to process transactions through VirtualNet, the leading Internet payment gateway from Vital Processing Services.

Through this certification, Authorize.Net will expand its network of processors to reach Internet clients who comply with Vital’s standards for direct connectivity to VirtualNet for real-time, online payment transaction processing. Authorize.Net currently supports more than 57,000 online merchants and is certified with four of the top five processing networks: First Data Corporation, Paymentech Processing Network, Nova Information Systems, and now Vital Processing Services.
