Liberty
recently completed the purchase of FiTECH’s data processing division
that serves more than 180 credit unions. Robert D. Anderson, Liberty
president and chief executive officer said, “The acquisition’s closing
ushers in a new era of credit union service that provides an expansive
offering of integrated, technology-based products.”
Liberty
FiTECH Systems will continue to provide core data processing solutions.
The new system combines marketing technology products, such as Liberty’s
database marketing services, Internet banking, and direct marketing, with
data processing. Liberty will be providing an infusion of additional
technology resources, equipment, and personnel, primarily in customer
service and software development.
Michael
Evans was introduced as the new president of Liberty FiTECH Systems. Evans
is the former executive vice president of FiTECH. Sanders Greer, the
former FiTECH president, will assume a key leadership post with Liberty
FiTECH Systems. The company will be headquartered in Atlanta.
FiTECH
is a data processor devoted entirely to credit unions and more than 180
