JustPark launches Plate Validator to help venues move vehicles through parking faster

New capability speeds up vehicle entry, reduces infrastructure costs and helps maximize guest dwell time.

June 15, 2026 –Dallas, TX: JustPark has launched Plate Validator, a new capability within its JustPark Prime platform designed to help venues, stadiums and event operators significantly speed up vehicle entry without the cost and complexity of traditional license plate recognition (LPR) systems.

Developed directly in response to feedback from JustPark’s own venue partners, Plate Validator enables operators to validate pre-authorized vehicles in real time using existing JustPark Prime devices, helping reduce queues, improve traffic flow and get guests from their cars to the venue faster.

For large venues and event operators, faster ingress delivers benefits far beyond the parking lot. By reducing arrival bottlenecks and helping guests enter venues sooner, operators can improve the guest experience while creating more time for visitors to spend on food, beverages, merchandise and other on-site experiences before an event begins, creating additional revenue opportunities.

Traditional LPR systems can require fixed camera installations costing tens of thousands of dollars per lane, along with professional installation, ongoing maintenance and long-term infrastructure commitments. Plate Validator delivers similar functionality through a mobile, flexible solution that works with existing JustPark Prime devices, allowing operators to deploy license plate validation only when and where it is needed.

The new capability works by using the Prime Lens camera to scan and validate license plates against a pre-authorized list of vehicles associated with JustPark Passes. Operators can deploy the solution across individual lanes, lots or events, move it between locations as operational needs change, and activate it only during peak periods.

Unlike fully automated free-flow systems, Plate Validator retains attendant oversight, ensuring that vehicles not matched to a valid pass can still be processed through standard entry procedures. This allows venues to benefit from significantly faster ingress while maintaining compliance, access control and revenue protection.

Plate Validator is now available as a configurable capability within the JustPark Prime platform and can be activated by operators already using JustPark Prime and JustPark Passes.
