Cashflows Makes Strategic Investment in Tap & Go, Supporting Growth
LONDON, UK, 13th August 2026: Cashflows, the platform that makes it easy for businesses to accept payments, today announces its investment in Tap & Go, specialists in card payment technologies and merchant services. The investment will support Tap & Go’s continued growth, enabling customers to benefit from an expanded product base across a growing number of verticals, while the companies continue to develop their commercial partnership.
The move brings together two female-led payments businesses, with Hannah Fitzsimons, CEO at Cashflows, joining forces with Anna McDonald, Founder and MD at Tap & Go and Nichola Eagle, Operations Director, Tap & Go. Both challenger businesses operate in sectors dominated by incumbents, and share a focus on strong leadership, long-term ambition, customer outcomes and delivering a personal, responsive experience.
The partnership commenced in 2025, with Cashflows providing the infrastructure and transaction settlement services for card machines deployed by Tap & Go. This has since evolved, with the investment enabling Tap & Go to focus on growth activity and broaden the solutions it provides to customers, expanding beyond card payments into ecommerce, virtual payments and multi-site solutions. As well as expanding its proposition, Tap & Go will invest in its people, build greater awareness of the brand and strengthen its reputation in the market to attract new customers organically. It will also broaden its scope into new verticals, including universities, stadiums, dentistry, hotels, builders’ merchants and the motor sector, while benefiting from the expertise and experience of Cashflows and its expert team.
For Cashflows, the investment takes its successful commercial relationship a step further, creating opportunities to work more closely with Tap & Go and its product suite, while unlocking new areas of growth by bringing the strengths of both businesses together. It also signals Cashflow’s wider growth strategy, with further strategic investment opportunities being explored.
Hannah Fitzsimons, CEO at Cashflows, said: “While the relationship may have started as a commercial partnership, this is not simply a financial investment - we believe in what Tap & Go are building and the energy from the team is palpable. This is a real opportunity to combine their drive and customer focus with our experience and expertise to accelerate the next stage of growth for Tap & Go.”
Anna McDonald, Managing Director at Tap & Go “We are building a brand and proposition that means customers come to Tap & Go because they know we can support them wherever their growth takes them. We are very proud to be a challenger in our own space and working with Cashflows, itself a challenger acquirer, bringing a shared level of tenacity, ambition and drive. There’s something particularly powerful about two female-led businesses coming together with that mindset, as together, we can be ambitious about what we build and deliver for our customers.”
