PCI Security Standards Council Announces 2026–2028 Global Executive Assessor Roundtable
WAKEFIELD, Mass., 12 August 2026 — Today the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) announced the 2026-2028 PCI SSC Global Executive Assessor Roundtable (GEAR). The Roundtable is an advisory board comprised of senior executives from PCI SSC assessor companies. The 2026-2028 GEAR consists of 33 organizations.
“GEAR serves as a valuable forum for open communication between senior leadership of payment security assessors and the PCI SSC leadership team,” said Gina Gobeyn, Executive Director of PCI SSC. “Discussions with these stakeholders provides an opportunity to gather insights on advancing assessor capabilities, strengthening core competencies, and reinforcing the value our assessors deliver to the payment industry. Continuing to invest in a strong assessor community and high-quality training remains a key priority as we work together to strengthen the security of payment data globally.”
