Infinite Peripherals, a global provider of enterprise mobility solutions based in Irvine, Calif., enhanced its Infinea line of mobile EMV (Europay, Mastercard and Visa) solutions for the retail, hospitality and transportation sectors. The next-generation hardware, software and application framework is flexible and scalable, and can adapt to a variety of use cases, company representatives stated.

The Infinea mPOS is an all-in-one, EMV-certified solution that supports contact, contactless and mag-stripe cards. The handheld device has a built-in, two-dimensional barcode scanner and fully encrypted mag-stripe reader. Infinea mPOS Flat, a wireless solution with the same features and functionality as Infinea mPOS, is compatible with Bluetooth, iOS, Android, Windows, Windows Phone 8 and Windows Mobile.
InfineaPay is a semi-integrated mobile payment acceptance solution for iOS devices. Recently certified on the First Data Rapid Connect platform, the solution enables iPhones, iPads and iPods to securely accept payments, eliminating gateway and middleware fees, the company stated.
InfineaPay supports point-to-point encryption and tokenization and reduces Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard scope for POS systems by sending sensitive payment card data directly to processors, Infinite Peripherals noted. Designed to leverage the security of the iOS platform, it provides a full range of cryptographic solutions.
InfineaEngine is a semi-integrated payment framework designed to meet card acceptance requirements for numerous vertical industries. The application framework is compliant with the most recent industry standards for Transport Layer Security secure communication and supports an array of payment schemes, including contact and contactless EMV, Visa Quick Chip, Mastercard M/Chip Fast, Apple Pay, Android Pay and Samsung Pay.
Tikhonov stated that the InfineaPay app and InfineaEngine framework also support signature capture and digital receipt management. "Combining this functionality with our family of mobile printers gives customers a fully certified, one-stop solution to address iOS transactions without any compliance concerns," he added.
InfineaIQ is the Infinite Peripherals mobile peripherals management solution, a comprehensive platform with the necessary tools and oversight to manage large device populations across an enterprise. Individual devices can be configured and monitored in real time. The system continuously monitors devices, providing real-time software and configuration setting updates and geolocation and geo-fencing capabilities to maintain device security and compliance.
The InfineaPay software development kit, designed by InfineaPay engineers and developers, includes a robust application programming interface library, development tools, a sample application and step-by-step integration guide to streamline and simplify InfineaPay integration. Application developers from different industries can use the solution without having to know anything about payment acceptance, Tikhonov said. The application will even ask additional questions to achieve higher levels of compliance by authenticating end users, he noted.
