What is your advice for others who are considering a career in merchant services?
There is a place for all skill sets in the payment industry. That is one takeaway I got from taking the courses. Whether
you want to go into the finance side of the business, building your own sales team or even registering as an ISO, there is
something for everyone.
What has it been like to work with a mentor in the program?
I don't know if I can answer this as my mentor was my Dad. I don't want to get into any trouble. I found the consistency of
the weekly calls with my mentor very helpful. I was able to get a dedicated timeframe to get all my questions answered.
I certainly don't want to boost his ego but he is good at it.
How do you fit your on-demand training into your day-to-day schedule?
I was able to dedicate time each day to getting online. The program is customizable and allows you to take courses at your
convenience.
